Our Admissions Office handles the inquiry and application process and is your contact and guide as you go though the admissions process with us.
In order for an applicant to be considered for placement the following steps are required:
- Completed Application for Admission Form
- Application Fee (non-refundable)
- A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate
- A copy of the applicant’s most recent report card
- Completion of the Confidential School Report by the child’s current teacher (if applicable)
Upon acceptance, all other supporting documents (provided by the Admissions Office) are required for registration. This includes:
- Medical information and vaccination form
- Completed Registration Agreement
- Required Enrolment Deposit

Scholarship Opportunities at Fern Hill School
Give your child the opportunity to experience a School Like No Other
Fern Hill School’s Burlington campus is pleased to offer a number of entrance scholarships to promising new students who have demonstrated high achievement in the areas of academics, arts, or athletics.
The Dixon Entrance Scholarships are available to students entering Grades 6 through 8, who are new to Fern Hill School. All candidates must submit a regular Application for Admission, as well as a completed Scholarship Application form.
The scholarship is tenable for as long as the recipient is enrolled at Fern Hill School, academic work remains at a high standard, and contributions to the school community continue. All scholarships will be reviewed on an annual basis.
The scholarships at Fern Hill open up a world of opportunity to students who may not normally consider an independent education and are based on a variety of factors, including academic performance as demonstrated through report cards, an age grade appropriate written component and two letters of recommendation.
The Dixon Entrance Scholarships are available to students new to the school, and are merit-based financial awards applied as a reduction in school fees.
